Default Back Again

Hello,
I am back again for another try! I weighed 365 at my highest, then lost about a hundred pounds a few years ago and have been struggling since then going up and down about 30 pounds. I'm 65 years old and am not able to walk or move about very easily although today I went out and walked around Vons - have become somewhat housebound but hope to change that. Have health issues etc.....I weigh 263 tonight and my ideal weight would be 140.Thanks!

Welcome back swan,
Sorry to hear that your health and mobility has been impacted. Have you considered for your re-start trying to follow a more precise plan than "general low carb". Maybe staying on the Atkins Induction plan until near goal, or Dr Westman's clinic diet, adding IF to LC, or even carnivore if you like meat. Look around the forum for active threads and see what appeals. All the best,

Thanks Janet,
I'll check out those options, I'm not familiar with Dr. Westman's diet.

Hi, Swan. You have an impressive history. Maintaining is the hardest part of the journey, but it sounds like you're ready for a fresh start.

Janet (Jey100) is an excellent resource. And just poking around in the threads will lead you to your own discoveries.

Best wishes.
