Hi All
I too live in PA, the Harrisburg area. I moved here about 4.5 years ago from Salt Lake City Utah. I must say I kind of like it. Look forward to "chatting" with you all.

Becky,

Well, it's great that your kids are so young. There won't be any problems with them not wanting to move, leave their friends, or go to a new school. That can be difficult for some kids. Your first born going off to kindergarten for the first time... that's gotta be rough! But, then, with the 2 extra kids, maybe you are ready for a break.

It was great talking to you too, Becky!

Phyllis

Hi Pam

Losing inches is great! Don't get discouraged. When I am losing inches but not weight, I like to think that I am adding muscle which will help me burn even more fat in the future... and one day soon I may see a whoosh that will correspond with all those inches lost.

hi phyllis! you are right, the kids will do Great with the move. my 4 year old is thrilled to be going to school, and meeting some kids her own age. one of the kids i watch is 3, but he is very small for his age, and a little more"sensitive" than my Tom boy of a daughter. Its hard for her to play with him because he gets hurt so easily. Did you get snow this morning? I think it was just a dusting, but maybe enough to bring out the snow thrower? Hope you had a great weekend!

Bunny girl, welcome! very nice to have you!

Good Morning Becky,

Sounds like your daughter is going to love school. We got a dusting... maybe a half inch. Not enough to bring out the snow blower... I don't even think he shoveled.

My dog was so happy to have fresh snow to play in and eat. When there is snow on the ground he begs to go out... comes in as soon as he starts shivering... and as soon as he is warm again, begs to go out again. He loves to eat snow... he buries his face in a huge pile and eats until he has to come up for a breath... you should she his funny snow face when he comes up for air!

We had a good weekend... hope you did too. Stay warm!

Phyllis

hi phyllis! I think the temps are supposed to be alittle higher this week, maybe get into the 40s! I am so ready for spring, But its good I have a little time to lose some weight before I have to bring out the shorts! My dog used to eat snow too. she would tunnel through it and we had to force her to come in sometimes, as soon as she started getting icicles on her eyelashes! funny thing, though, this same dog would not go potty on the snow, she had to have a little hole dug out in the snow where she could sqat! I don't get it. You should post some pictures of your dog, he sounds adorable!Have a great day

Hi Becky, Sounds like we both have snow dogs! (Mine is a Shih Tzu.) Mine likes to tunnel, too. Although he really likes it when it gets a crust and he can stand on top without sinking... he thinks he has really accomplished something... he poses up there like he's a Greek God! We have to force him in, as well. He will be shaking uncontrolably and still does not want to come in. You're right, I should post some photos of him, as well as myself.

Have a great week,

Phyllis
