The irony here is that the vegan/vegetarian agenda and acolytes have been buoyed and assume validity because of the demonization of saturated (animal) fats. This has become their hold card when challenged, as the response is that plant-based is healthier. Once we remove this stigma, their arguments are simply based on dogma that has nothing to do with achieving better human health. So, where does this inconvenient truth leave them? They must support a WOE that is not optimum, even damaging, for human health. That's a tough argument to perpetrate.
