depressing start

Hi, am a new forum user and never done one of these things before so bear with me!!!!

my cat died at the weekend, i know it sounds really stupid cos its only a cat but its been really depressing me! Am away at uni so wouldn't see him anyway but i still keep getting upset, anyone know how i feel?!

It doesn't sound stupid at all. It wasn't "just" a cat-he was your friend. I am really sorry you lost your friend this past weekend. Animals bring such love and joy into our lives.

I have two cats myself and I would miss them terribly.
