Hi All
Was just surfing thru this great site and came across this board.
I quit May 6 2000, I had smoked for 40 some odd years and was smoking 3-5 packs a day, then I had my second heart attack this time the doctor convinced me that I needed to quit. I used Welbutrin and it worked for me.
I still get cravings ever now and then but I can get past them without any problems.
The thing that I have learnt from this is that it is not the nicotine that is the big problem it is the HABIT OF SMOKING that we crave and it is the same habit that causes us to eat the whole Pizza, and cause the other problem that brought us here.
