Default But I don't want to be in this club!!!

I'm sure all of you are very nice turtles, but I really, really didn't want to be a member of the turtle club !!

Three week's of induction and still I'm at a whopping total of ZERO pounds lost and ZERO inches lost!! Three cheers for me and my loyal fat cells; they must love me, they're quite attached.

I have cut out all aspartame, caffeine, low-carb candy bars (I only had two at the beginning days), Atkins meal replacement shakes, sugars, flours... and on and on, but I cannot seem to break through the one-pound lost barrier yet. Who'd have guessed that losing one measly pound would be an insurmountable hurdle?

Anyway, although I arrived here kicking and screaming and protesting, I promise to become one of your most positive and optimistic members.

Thanks for making a home for another poor turtle. Do we get a free T-shirt?

Pam

Have you checked the stickie at the top of the Turtle Forum for more information? It could be prescription medication or a hisotry of yo-yo dieting that's doing you in. It can be overcome!

If I turn out to be a turtle, I hope my butt is a hare. I know the turtle won the race, but the hare had time for a nap along the way.

Hello from one turtle to another
I just have started moving ever so slowly but at least in the right direction. I had to tweak my eating and excercise. I lowered my calories and upped my carbs just a little eating more veggies. Dr. Atkins says in his book after induction to make this plan our own.
Good LuckTo Us, Pat S
