Hi GoldenLady, as I understand it, Pharmaton is ginseng, which some folk use for energy, but I don't think is recommended for permanent use and anyway is not essential. I am only remembering it from hearing a radio advert - people would be able to tell you better if you could list what's in it.
The calcium, magnesium, zinc ones are probably ok.

However if it was me, I would get:
1. a combined multivitamin/multimineral
2. some extra potassium
3. some cod liver oil (enriched with omega-3 if you can find it)

to start with. That's pretty much what I take and I feel fit and healthy on it.

I'm sure someone else will be able to come along and see what they think about this as a 'starters pack' too.
Jay

Hi, we buy a local brand, but loads of companies make them. They often say A-Z on them, Centrum do one, Sanatogen Gold A-Z is another one, Seven Seas A-Z is another.
They all say multivitamin/mineral on, and often A-Z, it might be cheaper to go into your local pharmacy and just look what they have.
Hope this helps.
Jay

Congratulations on the weight loss!!

Have you started a journal here yet? It will make things alot easier for you to "see" what works and what doesn't. Remember how important it is to eat enough.

I don't have msg. man. but I am on here almost everyday. Feel free to drop a line in my journal.

Have a great day....cin
