Default Exercise Challenge - 10 min

Anyone up for a challenge???

Here's the challenge, the goal is to get 10 min of exercise each day this week.

Let's get that heart pumping and burn some calories!

Just post your goals and update them as the week goes on.

We can encourage eachother.

Does racing around Wally World for groceries count? LOL! I accept the challenge! I am not sure what I'll be doing as of yet, but I will do something!

I did 75min of water aerobics today.

Great job Mike-

Maybe I should check out the other boards, I don't wander to other places.

I'll post here for this week-
Then maybe I'll linger over to another challenge place.

Thanks!

Hi Summer!

I actually post on a Disneyworld message board that has a weight loss/exercise/health area called "WISH" which stands for "We're Inspired to Stay Healthy!" It is the first message board I found. Not a lot of low carbers per se, but a very supportive and loving community with a common love of all things Disney. hehe If anyone is interested, let me know!

Week One

Mon: Spinning (this class was 1 hour) = 60 min
Our instructor handed out mini candy bars, which was really nice of her, so I saved them for during my RM, and they were oh so good! Partly because I worked HARD in my spinning class, it felt sooo good. Even though my workout buddy didn't go, I still went, and I was proud of myself for going it alone.
Tues: Treadmill 10 min (try to run 1 mile in this time)

Wed: Treadmill 10 min (or more) & weights

Thurs: Treadmill (try to run 1 mile)

Fri: Spinning (45 min)

Sat: Treadmill (1 mile)

Sun: Treadmill (1 mile)

Tues: Too busy today - 0 min = 60 week

Wed: Elliptical 20 min & 15 min weights - 35 min = 95 week

Thurs: Treadmill (10 min) - too busy didn't happen - 0 = 95 week

Fri: Spinning (45 min) - sleepy didn't get up - 0 = 95 week

Sat: Treadmill (1 mile)

Sun: Treadmill (1 mile)

I think instead of trying to exercise every day for 10 min or more, I'm going to have a goal for the week, like 150 min total. Then try to increase it every week.

I have done 80 min of water aerobics today and 20 min of walking yesterday. Brings my total for the week to 280 I believe.

Keep up the great work everyone!

Thanks Summer!
I think your idea of setting yourself a goal for each week is a great idea.
Hope it works for you!
