ToeMan, you might want to SEARCH this Products forum and see if there is already information about Citrucel posted somewhere in here. I'm pretty sure it's been discussed before.

Also, quite often there is a website or a toll-free phone number on the container, have you looked there? Asking the manufacturer is always my first search of choice... and they might be interested in knowing their customers WANT nutritional info.

For those who care about citrucel, this is the message I finally received from the maker of citrucel.....

Dear Mr. Dennison,

We have received your e-mail message regarding our product,
Citrucel® fiber
therapy.

Citrucel® Orange (with the orange cap) provides 60 calories
(15 grams of
carbohydrates from
sucrose) and 3 mg. of sodium per dose. Citrucel® Sugar-Free
Orange (with
the blue cap)
provides 24 calories (6.5 grams of carbohydrates from
maltodextrin) and 8
mg. of sodium per
dose.

Yikers! and they call THAT sugarfree?! 6.5g of carbs for a fiber supplement?! I don't think so, not for ME... I'll stick to my plain psyllium fiber or better yet, ground flaxseed meal.

Thanks for the warning, ToeMan.

Hi Toeman-
Don't know if you're interested, but i found that taking Magnesium Citrate every day not only helps keep my joints from aching, it also keeps me VERY regular. I take it twice/day with calcium. 200mag and 500 calcium 2xper day. Might want to try it. Kim
