Thumbs up Look Out ... It's my turn!

Hi!

Ok ... here goes. Tomorrow morning I am giving up the cigarettes. I've done it before so this time I'm doing it for the last time!

good luck lori! You succeeded in losing 21 pounds, no it's time to lose a horrid addiction. It will be worth it. Ignore any initial weight gain. It happens because you retain water and get bloaty the first couple weeks. Do you have a quit strategy? Using nic replacement or Cold turkey? You may not gain at all with nic replacement, but its a personal choice. Good luck and check in with us here every day!

Thanks for the support!

I'd like to do it cold turkey simply (so far so good) because I'm sort of the "let's get this over and not drag it out any longer than necessary" kinda person. But ... I do have nicotine gum and 7mg patches on hand just in case I begin to have homocidal thoughts

How you doing? Still smoke free?

I just gave them up yesterday and have the gum-which tastes icky.

I am hoping no weight gain.
