Default Seeking advice on starting a workout program

I know this is overdue. I've been wanting to start an exercise program for the longest time. I need advice on how to proceed.
I really want to start slow. I don't want to overdo or get too ambitious. The reason is I want to make it as easy to stick to a program as possible.
Here is my exercise background:
For the past 4 years, I have been an on-again, off-again gym visitor. I would do medium cardio for 30 minutes, and then do various weight machines. I would do this about 3 times a week.
I used to walk as well, 3 to 4 times a week - briskly for approx 30 minutes. I haven't done this since I started LCing. I've been focusing on my diet, but not on exercise. It's time I started.
Now, please folks, don't give me to much information.
I do not have a membership to a gym. I want to do some upper body weights from home if possible, using my own body as resistance. Also, I want to start walking again.
So, what I would like is upper body suggestions. (My arms are flabby, and this bothers me most.) This would be a good starting point for me.
I will also start a gym log as soon as I establish a program I can easily stick to.
Please help!!!

You don't need a gym membership to get in shape and look good. Try the FIRM videos and alternate that with walking.

You can purchase these videos at walmart, target, Kmart, or order them from videocollage.com or firmdirect.com. They are excellent tapes and produce results if used consistently. The FIRM incorporate weights and cardio. The results are very good.
