Hello, I have been doing Atkins for a month now. This forum has already provided me with many new recipes and lots of encouragement!!

This is my first forum ever and there is much I don't know. I am also in that computer challenged generation (almost 50). All that to ask how do I share my recipes with others.

Also, how do I put fun things and quotes into my replies?

Hello,
You will find the smileys if you go to post reply not post quick reply. I have never had the bars. I am going to get some this weekend. Are they good?
Good luck all.

Other than the fact that every crevice I have seems to need a breath mint, and the fact that I have eaten so much cheese by now that I am catching myself looking over my shoulder because I'm expecting somebody to cut off my tail with a carving knife, I'm fine. Looking forward to finding information and support here.

Thank you for the help!

As for the low carb bars - I found some at Walmart made by Carborite that are 0 countable carbs They are more of along the lines of candy bars. They are chocolate covered and just right to control my sweet tooth. There are five or six different "flavors" to pick from.

Red face some more "healthy Atkins bars"

Hi, I just found a chocolat bar from Atkins here in Canada, at London Drugs..the endulgence ..just heaven ...it is a caramel nugat bar and cost $1.69 CDN.. My ultime favorite meal replacement bar is the BROWNIE bar and the cookies and cream..

Sorry to jump to a different subject but I read that a lot of people have constipation problems, I on the other hand have the total opposite happening..diarr eah don't know why..
Anyways I love ATKINS..

I just want to say I'm glad that it's not just me having a hard time learning my way around the forum. For the longest time, I couldn't even get in but now I can write a message and hopefully it will go to the right place. I've read the forum for ages!

Hi Jacordi! You've come to the right place. Good luck on your new way of life, this is the easiest way to lose weight I've ever found. Until I change them in a bit, my stats don't reflect it, but I've steadily lost a pound a week. Not fast, but steady, so I know I can keep it off.

If you need any help, be sure and ask. Somebody will answer your questions.

Well-it's nice to find this message board and all you friendly people. I need encouragement and also recipes. The old-er Hippie in me, who's bible was DIET FOR A SMALL PLANET, cannot imagine this being an altogether good way to eat. But my vanity and my co-dieting husband are ready to give it my best shot. Thanks for creating this nurturing place. PATRA in
