Default SoC for Low Carb Eaters (Not)

I'm putting this link in the War Zone for obvious reasons. In many threads we have discussed standards of care and how they related to beliefs of what constitutes good health according to the medical community. However, current SoCs are constructed on weak evidence based on a SAD WOE, not low carb or anything else that might result in better health.

I've observed that blood lipid markers and LDL (bad) cholesterol readings do not represent the profile of a low carb or keto eater; therefore, they do not qualify as valid health markers for certain dietary profiles. In this video, Doug Reynolds of Low Carb USA speaks about exactly that. What are your thoughts? Do you agree?

Edited to add: His heartfelt story at the end of the video is something I believe many of us have experienced or can relate to directly. We've discussed it before on this forum.

Here's the link on Low Carb USA for the recently released Low Carb Guidelines:

I've been wrestling with physicians for all of 2019 and it's not over yet. My husband has had a chronic illness diagnosed by a top endocrinologist, and over the years our doctor had crafted a regimen with us. But he retired late last year, and it's been a circus since.

They won't fill this prescription, or that one, and then make demands he can't possibly fulfill, like being barely able to walk and them wanting him to show up at the office when he's like that.

I know even my low carb increased my total cholesterol and that alone is a hurdle we'll both jump.

Now on our third doctor's office but this might be a keeper: he is Keto Positive!
