I'm from SW Metro Area myself, have a lot to lose, as you'll see in my signature. But would love to connect with some locals to keep me on track.

I started this on June 27th, 2011. It's almost 3 weeks and I've barely made a dent in my weight loss but I'm still trying. Mainly because I can still eat and lose weight. On the upside my clothes are fitting nicely. Can't wait for baggy and new ones though.

I'm late to the party, starting over after a bad month. Which isn't to say the month was bad, just that I didn't stay on plan AT ALL and gained back 6 pounds.

I'm in the southern suburbs.

Well I stalled for a while but I kept at it and now I'm down totally about 17 lbs., but from my stall about 6 lbs. I'm excited because I was getting discouraged and cheated a little, but my brother weighs about 1 lb more than I do and he's 6'3" so I have to keep at it just because he's doing this diet as well. It sucks being so close in weight to a over 6' guy but it does keep me on the straight and narrow.

Not good to compare yourself to your brother, men lose faster. Or anyone else for that matter! Just keep at it and it will happen.
