Greetings. It's the end of the 3rd week that LowCarb FoodExperts Canada has
been up and runnning.
Here's the Co-op Ordering Status as of this evening:
Thus far, we've got 15 bottles overall of the DaVinci Sugarfree Syrups on request, and I'm in the final stages of arrangements for purchase and shipping. If you'd like to get in on this order (which is likely to be the only one before Christmas), please let me know as quickly as possible.
We have 4 (Original), 6(Garlic'n'Herb) and 8(Large Original) of the La Tortilla LowCarb tortillas on request. A commercial case is 24 packages for the Original and for the Garlic, and 12 packages for the Large however.
We have 2 ThickenThin not/Starch and 1 ThickenThin not/Sugar from ExpertFoods on request. A commercial case is 12 for each product.
Once we have enough requests, ordering the case itself, for either ExpertFoods or LaTortilla, is straightforward. Again, if you'd like to receive these before Christmas, please let me know as soon as possible.
If you're thinking of Christmas LC goodies for yourself or anyone you know, order now, as it's coming fast and the co-op ordering/shipping process itself takes a little longer than usual. Think of it as "pay it forward" online purchasing... Those of you who are already supporting this venture with your orders, I thank you.
Here's a brief summary of the available product lines, for those of you who haven't seen my webpage yet.
DaVinci Gourmet: SugarFree Syrups with Splenda, NO aspartame or sugar alcohols such as maltitol or glycerol
Many uses in the lowcarb kitchen, can provide flavour and sweetness, *without* the aftertaste and *with* heat stability, to yogurt, desserts, pancakes, salad dressings or marinades. A wide range of flavours available (see my webpage below for a quick list of available flavours), in a large 750mL (3/4 quart) bottle.

LaTortilla: LowCarb/LowFat Tortillas
For those family brunches or any other special occasion; also useful for the Maintenance phase of a lowcarb plan. With it's relatively high protein and low carbohydrate profile, ideal in a "mixed marriage" household of "high" and low carbers. Better than the alternative for those with
hypoglycemia or diabetes, as well. Consider "wraps", pizza crusts, baked or toasted triangles for dipping, savory stacked tortes. Made with wholewheat, soy and oat fiber, they have a 30-day shelf life and a 6-month freezer life.
Expert Foods: ThickenThin not/Starch & not/Sugar, Wise Choice Mousse Mix
If you like to cook and experiment, have a look through the ExpertFoods website. The website has just been revamped, and has a great lowcarb recipe collection as well as great products that provide much of the texture and
properties of sugars and starches *without* providing the bioavailable carbohydrates, at the same time providing a excellent natural source of soluble fiber. Best of all, the fiber's in your food where it belongs, not alone in a glass with an indescribable texture...
