I'm a SuperMommy of 10 yr old twin boys. Lost 125 lbs 5 yrs ago and because I'm a massive Foodie, I have gained back 26 of it and it need to go. Started low carb/keto on May 1 and progress has been super crazy slow even though carbs are under 20 and this morning I freakin gained back a pound. I blame the Italian sausages.

Welcome!

It's not a straight line of loss. If you are like I was, there are even days you gain.

Also you may be gaining lean muscle, which cubic inch for cubic inch weighs more than fat. How do the clothes fit?

Keep in mind that along with the 20 carb limit, your fat should be at least twice as much as your protein.

Also you do have to keep calorie count to a reasonable level, and it helps if you exercise. If you are in ketosis, your body will burn fat instead of sugar, so exercising, even if it's a brisk walk, will help.

Bob

Welcome TwinMommy. You've already proved you can do it. You can still do it. Bob-a-Rama is right: not a straight line. I'm experiencing that, too, and it makes me impatient. At least the direction is right.

As a Foodie, low-carb should be right up your alley. I've been cooking some wonderful recipes from the Diet Doctor Keto menus. Easy and delicious.

Enjoy!

Congratulations on keeping off almost 100 pounds! Sausages can get really sneaky
