Unhappy Guilty Confessions...............

I just wanted to confess to you all, that I cheated today and I feel terribly guilty. The worst part is that I cheated myself. I was at day 6 and lost 4.5lbs and ruin it. I went on a bit of a cookie binge and couldn't control myself. If I only can get myself through the first six weeks. I wonder how much of a setback this will be.

I like to try to end things focusing on the positive things I did today. I had crustless quiche for dinner, exercised and drank 4 liters of water.

I guess I'll keep on truckin'

You did the right thing! When you fall off the wagon, get RIGHT back on! Don't use one slip as the basis for blowing the whole day. And the water was also the right idea.

Now tomorrow, don't worry about 'how much' the slip might set you back, just keep on LCing. How about not even weighing tomorrow? Keep on drinking the water. It may mean you won't lose for a couple of days because this is a diet with a CHEMICAL basis and you can't fool your liver into ignoring carbs. But if you stay LC from here on out, you'll resume losing.

BY the way, when the 'carb cravings' hit, stuff your mouth with some sort of protein and chew. I have yet to meet a carb craving that could survive a protein attack.

Onward and downward.

Is that really true Tofi? Will the carb cravings go if I have protein?

Protein will usually get you through a carb craving.

Wink Today's another day...

Yes, I discovered today protein does help curb the craving. Today at work, yet more temptation....girl scout cookies. I just grabbed some nuts instead, it filled me up and gave me the crunchy feel of a cookie.

Thanks again,
Gaily
