Default DOG BREATH from Hell!...

Hi do you guys reckon it's the high protein that causes bad breath? I know cheese is bad for this.. I've read Ketosis is the reason and also told once by a gp that lack of carbs causes the bad breath. It's the only draw back from this diet plan really.
I'm thinking I need to up my carbs cut down my fat and protein when I hit my goal weight and find carb level.
I'm not interested in what breath mints I can try, I just don't want to have the problem in the first place as it's the only sign that makes me feel I'm doing something that isn't healthy or as nature intended
But if I would snack on eggs and cheese sticks instead of celery or cucumber

Bad breath can also be a sign of gum disease and not necessarily diet. Excepting garlic, of course.
