Default WOW!! I'm melting!!

OMG! I started LC 6/7 at 182lbs. This morning I'm down 15.5 lbs in eight days!

My BMI dropped from 33.3 to 30.4.

50 more pounds to go!!

I do hope I stay motivated! I'm already seeing the slow up happening. I expect the scale to go up here and there too. Just gotta keep it up!

WOWZERS!!! CONGRATS!!! That IS a great start!!! I agree with Kirsteen....hope this helps you stay motivated when things slow down. With this great momentum I think you should consider moving to OWL and testing out how you'll eat for life!

I'm doing Atkins (or my version)--so no more than 20-30 carbs for first two weeks. I'm on OWL now, so I've stalled a few times, but changing up my diet for a day with increase in carbs has worked to get it started again.

A typical breakfast for me is: coffee with half and half and Splenda, two hard boiled eggs (warmed with butter and salt and pepper) or a two egg omelette with spinach, tomatoe, red onion, turkey sausage and provolone cheese... YUM.

I usually have a handful of almonds for a snack and it keeps me satisfied!

dinner is grilled salmon and grilled asparagus or a salad with tomatoe, onion, cucumber and balsamic vinagerette.
