I have been doing Sb for 9 days...and have lost 2 lbs.
I am afraid I may have been overdoing dairy and fat portions though. I hope that's why it so slow. I read p. 41 with the foods list and will try to keep evoo and salad dressings down to lower levels.
I've never eaten any of those beans before in my life except kidney beans and only in chili. I wouldn't know how to cook them or how to eat them...lol.
canned? In any case... I will be posting in my journal and if anyone would like to come in and give my menus some help it would be greatly appreciated.
So very glad to be back here.

HI and welcome!!
The best tip I can give you is to follow the food lists and meal plan charts as closely as possible. Print them up to use as reference as you food shop and prepare your meals.
There are built in portions controls on certain foods(dairy, beans, nuts, fats) and other foods like phase I veggies, are unlimited. Protein is to be eaten until satisfied.
dairy- 2 cups total daily
beans- 2x a day 1/3-1/2 cup is a serving(this can be in bean dips like hummus also.)
nuts/seeds- 1x 1oz serving of nuts a day or 2 tbs of nut butters-see food lists
fats- see food lists for choices- we have a fat serving with each meal
Snacking is recommended on SB...its worked out well for me to eat in this grazing type of way.
Good luck!!
