Default great progress

I always find it amazing at how quick the callanetics works.
Yesterday I completed my 4th super callan session,this morning my muscles
were aching for a break,so going to low intensity today.
practised am callanetics,seemed like a breeze in comparison to the long sessions.
I have come down one trouser size in the last week,so it would be nice to come down another this week

anyone feel like joining in?

I've been wanting to get into doing callanetics a few times a week, I have both 10-in-10 and Super workouts. I've done the 10-in-10 a few times and it's an amazing workout, I can believe it is very effective. I've got a few weeks left to get through my semester and then we're moving house, so hopefully before the end of May things will calm down enough that I can start working in some physical time for myself. I hope I will be able to join you then

Was nice to wake up today feeling much more trim.
today my callanetics menu is :

* Am callanetics
* Pm callanetics

These can be done at any time of the day.When I think of the effort it takes,I start making excuses.When I remind myself that it doesn't take long at all,once I get started it's really easy and enjoyable,and the way I feel after is just fantastic,then I get more excited as I am now for my sessions.The Am/Pm is good because it amounts up to 40 minutes all together but if you are busy then you can fit it into your day.

Ok,well I best go and get ready for my callan AM session.

Thanks, any organizing will have to wait till school is over, hopefully there won't be too much to do anyway. We're still mostly packed from our move last year, the noise level in our apartment complex is so bad we knew we wouldn't be able to stay so we never really settled in. The new place is close and we have lots of time to move, so shouldn't be too awful.

My big issue with any exercise is always mustering the motivation to get it started. I'm fine once I get going and feeling super great by the time I'm finished. The more often I can do it the easier it gets to stay with it. Threads like this help a lot with the motivation as well

why not before you start,remind yourself of say 5 reasons why you love to take a session?

for me:

* the feeling of accomplishment makes me feel so good
* I will wake up tomorrow feeling todays effects
* Its great to have time for myself
* I will be able to fit in smaller clothes next week
* my friends/family will be inspired

your turn

Default motivation callanetics post

what is callanetics and how does it work?

Callanetics is a series of stretching and contracting excercises
that activate the bodys largest muscle groups,using tiny,gentle,
precise movements,called pulses.

They are done very slowly,in triple slow motion,
reaching deep into the muscles to give you a strong,firm body,
without adding bulk.

Default A day of growth in strength

It was a hard day emotionally.
but it was necessary.
Tears are cleansing.

Seeing it through...don't quit

Don't Quit
Don't Quit no matter what!

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As every one of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he'd stuck it out.
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow -
You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man;
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup,
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are -
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

Hi, I'm doing Fluidity, but also have Super Callenetics. Actually, I have several Callenetics VHS and am ordering the original in dvd. I'm not even going to venture into the Super Callenetics yet, it's super hard. But I am amazed that you lost a pants size in a week, but you do it everyday?

I do Fluidity 3x a week. Are you having another challenge? I'd sure like to try something.
