I walked after work but was in some pain - it wasn't enjoyable and I really didn't find much to photograph.
I took this pic of a nearby ravine - or ditch really - not big enough to be a ravine...those are dried cattails fallen over in a mass...
[IMG][/IMG]
And these tiny dried flowers looked interesting by the side of the road...

It has been pouring all last night and today - thunderstorm at work and our parking lot flooded. A road my carpool buddy and I take to pick up her husband after work was closed. I did walk to PT anyway, it was raining but not torrential.
A gully wash at the end of the complex - water rushing at me...
[IMG][/IMG]
the water rushing away from me on the other side...
[IMG][/IMG]
Water at the end of the road getting high...
[IMG][/IMG]
Flowering plum by PT in full bloom now...
[IMG][/IMG]
Leaving PT - dark now, but still raining...

I walked at sunset tonight - my first walk toward the park which is up a grade...These are the newly planted calendulas across the driveway from my apt...(my flower pix turned out fuzzy today...I wasn't focused well I guess...)
[IMG][/IMG]
This is the gully wash/creek on the front end of the complex...during a big rain the water reaches the top of the banks - one day I need to photograph it when it's that high...this has gone down a lot. Water coming at me...
[IMG][/IMG]
And on the other side water rushing away from me...
[IMG][/IMG]
Daffodils at the end of someone's driveway...(In my other life I had a yard-full of these double daffodils - loved them...)
[IMG][/IMG]
It's the Pisces new moon and I thought this was the coolest thing - a stone at the edge of someone's yard by the road...it looked like a - new moon!
It's the little things...

Rough week. PT on Wed, not a lot of walking, although at lunch yesterday I did walk upstairs in the training room at work. Sick on Mon/Tues.
A quick walk around the house where I am petsitting- these flowers seem to say "LOOK at me!"...
[IMG][/IMG]
And such a cheery chorus line of color here...
[IMG][/IMG]
This California poppy planted itself in a pot...
[IMG][/IMG]
These daffodils are so pretty...
[IMG][/IMG]
This zoomed shot of the mountains was taken earlier - trying to capture the vibrant blue of the sky but it just doesn't show well here...

Hi Arlene! Thanks, I have to save my last percoset for PT. It's good that they make me move and challenge the knee, but it still hurts... I need to step up my game here now that my prescription will be in today...and stomach is delicate but settled - I need to do more at home. Very sunny today - I went out anyway and took some pix. It's fun to see all the different flowers in bloom at this house!

I exercise almost daily with the exercises the hospital gave me and PT has given me ones, also. I've been doing stairs (awkward and hurts but they want me to practice) - stair stepper and treadmill when I am at a clients house - and have gone back to walking almost daily - there is a grade up to the park nearby home so I've gone up it and back down at sunset. My text usage is almost used up for the month so I quit taking pictures for awhile.
I did take this one yesterday though - I heard a flapping above my head and there was a turkey in a tree!

Catching up from last week - had to go to see the Nurse Navigator at the surgeons office - so the walk from the parking lot to the office/hospital is long, so I counted that. Only took one photo - was very tired and very sore and swollen...I would have loved to do more there but was not up for much. And then the long drive back home....
Parking lot view at the hospital...

Somehow these walk pix got deleted but I did do a "study in hummingbirds" at my main clients house...I sat out by the feeder and waited to take some photos...they buzz around a lot there. These were zoomed.

At my main clients house- walk
Look at the shamrocks under the daisy-like flowers...
[IMG][/IMG]
Fine cobwebs filled with fallen chokecherry petals make wonderful fairy beds, don't you think?
[IMG][/IMG]
Dainty sprays of white flowers on these bushes...
[IMG][/IMG]
Lovely calla lily...
[IMG][/IMG]
Pretty pretty daffs or jonquils...not sure the proper name, alongside a purple flowering bush...

These iris are purple - they photograph blue though!
[IMG][/IMG]
cheery red and white penstamon...
[IMG][/IMG]
This is actually the 2nd lilac of the year...the first I picked and put by my bedside!
[IMG][/IMG]
And the lemon bush is flowering and ready to become late spring lemons...

Little yellow iris next to artemisia...
[IMG][/IMG]
red begonias in a pot...the deer haven't been back to them since they mowed them down a few months ago...

Per dr's orders: up and moving for 5 min every hour at work... not really a lot of time for photos and I don't always go outside.
