Default Hi, I'm a newbie to this board. I somersize. Any Somersizers up for a chat?

I've been Somersizing for a few months. There is no longer a chat room for Somersizers. I was wondering if any somersizers would like to chat here on this board?

Hello Willow,

It is good to hear from a fellow Somersizer. You are kicking butt on that weight loss, way to go girl!!! I've been struggling to stay on program lately, but I'm getting back to it this weekend. I hope we can chat soon.

Polly

Hey Polly,
Hi there...yeah another SSers!! thanks for the kudos...it's good when you see a few #s loss early but I love it when the "melt" happens. I think I lost 8# is a week once...that was unreal. But I know if I keep to level 1, I will see the results. So what's your greatest challenge? Mine are french fries or any potato item...but I've been doing well...I haven't been eating out for lunch at all this week, so I've really been staying on track...another challenge is donuts...working in my office alot of sales reps bring in donuts. I just try to avoid the break room all together when I know they are in there.

Take care and hope to talk to you soon

You know my biggest challenge is sickness. Whenever I get sick, which is often, the last thing I feel like doing is cooking. The last thing I feel like eating is protein, all I want is bad carbs mixed with proteins.

I've had a bad time of it of late. It started with a bad cold then my Uncle got sick and was dying. Everyone needed to stay with him and make sure he was well cared for the last days of his life. It was tough, no time to cook. I had to make food for everyone and bring a cooler. I could only afford bread and bologna and cheap chips. This went on for a week. Things have finally settled down, we will have a service this coming Friday. This weekend I'm getting back to basics and am going to load up the fridge with meat, eggs and vegetables. The first few days will be tough.

I feel for you, since I'm a homemaker I have more control over what food is in my enviroment.

And Yeah, I'm real glad to find other Sommersizers on here. Hope to talk soon.

Polly

Yeah me too, when ever I'm home sick from work, I want to eat everything that I shouldn't. Well, I hope life gets back to normal for you. If you need any help or support, just give me a shout
