Day 76 of my "It's time to lose some weight" Challenge

Good on the carbs yesterday. I ate a lot and it included a bag of pork rinds and some strawberries in SF sweetened HWC.

Days at or under 20 carbs: 63
Days with good portion control: 64
Days avoiding my "Problem" LC foods: 65

Practice plan thru September 30:

Alternate Day Fasting - Monday, Wednesday and Friday (ADF M-W-F). Same as Quarter 2 of 2020. Also on eating days trying to keep protein at around 1g/lb body weight. Also I plan on not stepping on a scale until Oct 1st nor tracking carb macro (only protein) This should be fun and relaxing!

Tracking below. First line is days of week, lines below them are hits and misses for the days that week. I'll note if it was 24 or 36hr fast.

Default Day 8 - 90 days ends October 10, 2020

1. On plan with steady weight loss. On plan today. Packed enough food, worked then had to go to the dealership with the truck. 172.4

2. Alcohol limited to 2 cups per week. (in increments - 2 oz a day) Niece came over and I had a drink with them, plus tasting sister's experiments so 12 oz today. Will seriously strive to stay within 16 oz this week.

3. Exercise 5 X a week for 15 minutes, focus on walking.

4. Proper skin care daily, including extra a few times a week.

Plan: <20g carbs per day, and stop watching youtube (dammit!)

Days 1 to 10:
D01: 12 July: 14.8 g carbs. No yt.
D02: 13 July: 06.3 g carbs. No yt.
D03: 14 July: 06.4 g carbs. No yt.
D04: 15 July: 05.7 g carbs. No yt.
D05: 16 July: 16.6 g carbs. No yt. I've replaced yt with zoning out and daydreaming. Is there a cure for daydreaming?
D06: 17 July: 07.0 g carbs. No yt.
D07: 18 July: 09.2 g carbs. No yt.
D08: 19 July: 08.0 g carbs. No yt. Was really itching for yt last night. Amazing. Dopamine withdrawal???
D09: 20 July: 16.5 g carbs. No yt. Started doing some constructive reading yesterday to fill the niche.

Number of days without youtube: 9
Number of days <20g carbs: 9

90 days ends on October 10th.

I am definitely not up for this right now. I will continue to strive for the things I want to do, being on plan, exercising, good skin care habits and keeping alcohol to a low amount.

Day 78 of my "It's time to lose some weight" Challenge

Good on 2 of the 3 goals yesterday. 24 net carbs put me over on #1. I had a good weight lifting workout at the Y and 15K steps. Not a bad day. Scale is still stuck. I'm hoping that this reflects that I am trading muscle for fat.

Good on carbs and "problem foods' yesterday. I was OK on volume. Closer to 2500 calories is where I'm at. That should still be a fat loss day, albeit the slow loss zone.

I went a little high on the carbs (still < 25 net) from the hand full of mixed nuts I had after dinner. I was good on portion control for the day.
