Default Visual Motivation

I don't have any "before" photos of myself and due to the large nature of plus-size clothing, I still wear quite a few of things I got into right after starting. I am a slow loser and it's tough to keep motivated at times.

Today, I measured out my "before" waist measurement and wrapped it around my (now 8-inch smaller) waist. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I did the same with my hips. (OMFG!) I may not have a massive weight drop, but looking in the mirror just now, I can "see" what I've lost.

I highly recommend doing this

How awesome for you!!!
Be careful with those plus size pants. I stuck my husband's car keys in my pocket and almost showed everyone in Wal-mart my grannie panties!!

Congrats, Jenn! What a fun idea! Sometimes, I like to weigh myself with a heavy backpack to feel the weight I've lost.

I put up pictures from workout magazines of hot chicks, just taped them up everywhere so I could be motivated. It really seemed to help so maybe I respond well to visual motivation. I also had a cute sundress that I was earmarking to get into that I kept front and center in my closet so I would be reminded of my goal.

I also have a sign up on my refrigerator: "Are you looking for something?"

Any motivational visual, audio, physical, behavioral cues, anything that works - go for it! And keep changing them up. So if they stop working, try something else.
