I haven't used it in years, but I was able to log in to the classic site. I don't pay for premium. Are you getting that empty "index of /" page with just links to favicon.ico and status/? Click on status. I was able to log in from there.

If that doesn't work, the login page has this url: https://www.fitday.com/fitness/Login.html

HTH.

When I try to log in, I enter my user name and then my password, click log in and they both just disappear... like I'd never typed anything into the blanks.. have had it happen before, multiple times, but always figured that it was because too many others were using the log in at the same time... this is the longest it's ever done this.. I rely heavily on being able to track my eating this way.. and having to had to just write everything down on paper keeps track alright.. but no where near the emotional support and encouragement.. Thanks for getting back to me.

I purchased the PC version of FitDay many years ago in 2004, and it's been working fine this whole time. I've thought about upgrading here and there, but never did because the next version never looked worth it to me. Sorry I can't help with the online version.

FIXED IT !!! or rather my Granddaughter did...turned out to have something to do with "cookies" once she deleted them all was well..

BawdyWench... I've thought about purchasing the pc version but always backed off because I have over five years of food and journal entries in the online version and was afraid of losing them all...Do you happen to know if transfering data from online to pc is possible?

I honestly don't know. The history I now have on my PC is why I don't use the online version. Maybe you could call them and see if it can be brought in?

I don't believe so, unless they've changed it, but it seems like it's changed hands several times and it's been largely abandoned. FitdayPC and the website were always different entities, and there was no way to make them talk to each other. Even early on (2005 or so?), we had a huge thread here with Fitday bugs that we would have loved to see corrected, and there was never any response from them when contacted. I have a feeling it was maybe a post-graduate student project or something like that.

That said, I still use FitdayPC and I love it. I've tried many newer nutrition apps, including MyFitnessPal, and they're crap in comparison.

My husband is a programmer and I often wish that if he could buy it off them, he'd be able to fix this and make a superior product.

Kristin, what a great idea! I'll bet it would come cheap. I have a list of enhancements I can give you.
