Thumbs up back on track :)

I guess the gravy thing wasnt that big of a deal because I am back in the purple on the Ketogenic test... meaning I need to drink up lots of water I still havent really lost any weight though. I lost maybe one pound and tomorrow will be 8 days into the diet. Ah well, I will be patient. I like having control of what I eat. I dont think I am getting enough calories though, will that have a negative effect on Atkins? I cant find enough to eat. And are Devil's eggs bad to eat? I dont think so, but I thought I would ask because I eat them everyday. Thanks for everything.

Graham

Have you read the book, Collegeguy? This is a great resource for anyone on the Atkins "diet", but if you haven't read the book, you should.
As you may have heard from many on this forum, we do not consider this to be a diet, but a "way of eating" or "way of life". For that reason, any momentary slip-up is not considered to be an issue. We know that we are in this for the long haul.

Gotta agree with that one....I know I will never go back to my old ways of eating...I did slip off yesterday and go over my 20 by about 50!! But, I never gave into the junk food, it was just my protein drink that I had after I worked out. It had 26 alone and that was the first time I had used it since I started 10 days ago.. that is probably why I was feeling so awful yesterday morning..so sluggish. I am definitely not in ketosis this morning..so back on the wagon. At least I didnt give in to my old ways..

Hi collegeguy,

I'm with DWRolfe, I love deviled eggs. Yes, they are fine. Do you make them yourself? make sure there's only mayo and mustard.

Take care, and post often,

cimart
