Dear Gym Log and Ken and Kristine
I basically went to Ken’s gym log and figured out how to start a new thread! Fabulous!
I have recently bought a treadmill on TV that comes completely assembled. It is the brand Fitnation on QVC and goes up to 3.7 speed. It will have a bar for balance. I also have at home an X-bike by Proform a mini tiny elliptical and I haven’t used that one that much cause several years ago I broke 6 mini elliptical sits a long and funny story!
I also belong to a very beautiful expensive health club with lap pool leisure pool exercise machines classes yoga beauty parlor spa health cafe hot tubs and showers and basketball court the list goes on. But I pulled my left groin in dec 26th and re-aggravated the injury recently.
My goal is to get back to 128 lbs using Andrew Lessman Secure Soy Meal replacement powder plus almond milk plus healthy food : fruits veggies etc.
The last time I was 128 was nov of 2017.
It is only Jan 2020 and I am motivated. I tried carnivore diet but I was depressed eating only meat and egg and I have a 10 year old who did not understand why I wasn’t eating fruit and veggies so I need a food plan that sounds more mainstream than meat and eggs etc. at least with shakes you can go out on a date for dinner and get normal dish. Etc.

Goals: get down to 128
If I weigh 162 I need to lose 34 lbs. I believe I can lose 10 lbs a month or 2 lbs a week.
17 weeks to lose 34 lbs
Goal will be hit in MAY 15th

Yesterday’s exercise was getting my new treadmill out of the box which took forever I had to cut the whole box with scissors.

I pulled my groin recently left inner thigh but I tried to walk on my new treadmill already today so I am excited cause it is snowing outside and not sure I want to drive 15 min to my gym.

Walked around the block at least 3 times today and I might do another few times we shall see.
I did two times in the morning and again after my daughter had breakfast. I listen to Korean pop music and it makes the time go faster.

Over the years I wore out two manual treadmills (NordicTrak) by wearing grooves in the plate under the belt.

Then I went with ellipticals, and wore two of them out.

So now I walk up and down my dead-end street. 15 complete circuits = 3 miles and 20 circuits = 4 miles. I do at least 3 miles per day and often 4 with one day off per week.

Now I just wear out shoes. I haven't managed to wear grooves in the street yet

I also have a couple of wrist weights but I don't use them as much as I should. It gets hot and sweaty and they become uncomfortable.

I've never liked gyms. I guess it reminds me too much of Phys-Ed classes in school

Bob

Last night my daughter read to me and I burned 600 calories in about 78 min and biked 40 miles

I only was able to walk around the block once but I walked up and down my Stairs countless times because I had to move the laundry.
