I always say that if people want to get together for an activity and have a couple of beers, that's OK but,
if drinking beer is the activity that's a problem!

I don't believe this report. Although it appears the nutritionists, Big Ag, Big Pharma, and Big Government are digging in their heels promoting healthy whole grains, the keto diet is getting into the American psyche in a way that the Atkins diet didn't. Severe obesity is mostly a poor man's diagnosis. But thanks to reddit, tweeting celebrities, and forums like this one, the poor man has access to info and people from different backgrounds like never before in the history of the world.

Keto is here to stay. Because we live in the land of plenty, and human nature being what it is, people will probably always overeat. But if people are beginning to recognize that sugar - and, for many of us, grains - are the enemy, that very severe obesity we see on the motorized carts in Walmart will become more and more rare. Heck, I already think I see less of it than I did two or three years ago.
