I was so upset when they moved to their new location!

Hi, I'm Gwen. I live in Toronto, and used to love stopping at the LC Grocery at Yonge and Lawrence. It was so easy to get to on the subway! Now it's in the middle of nowhere (anywhere that isn't TTC accessible is "the middle of nowhere" for me) and I haven't been since.

Which is for the best, I suppose... I used to go through phases where I'd rely so heavily on LC products that I'd stop losing weight. Case in point: Dreamfields pasta. HAHA I thought that stuff gave me free rein to indulge in my favourite food! Then I woke up a million pounds heavier and realized that just because it says low carb, doesn't mean I should eat it.

I miss the Da Vinci syrups though. You can still find Splenda-flavoured syrups (sometimes Da Vinci) at Winners, but their selection is spotty.

Gwen, well TTC sucks anyway, so... I have been to the low carb store with my bf who drove us there. If you have a car, it is better. And did you know that they actually send food home if you order it? You don't have to go anywhere, just shop at your computer on their website

I have ordered from lowcarbgrocery a few times I think its $8 for the shipping and free if its over $100, sometimes my friend and I do an order together to get it over $100 for free shipping.
but I figure even if I get less the $8 would be spent in gas anyways so it evens out.

I will have to check the winners near me for the syrups I havent found any in the grocery stores out here in Oshawa.
