Default Grilled cheese sandwich....wow..this was good.

I can't figure out where I got this recipe...i thought it was here but a search didn't find it...

No matter....this was surprisingly good.

You take two large slices of swiss cheese (I used Kraft) ....the good kind...like real sliced cheese..not imitation cheese slices for sandwhiches...

You nuke them on parchment paper until they start to look like they've got a spiderweb growing out of them...not until they are burnt....

Then take them out...and sop up the grease...let them cool for a minute or two

And assemble a grilled cheese using these two slices as the bread and two american cheese slices as the cheese.

Nuke for another 10 or 15 seconds...JUST until the inner cheese starts to get soft.

I was amazed at how good this was....dipped in some LC ketchup would be even better.

Like I said...I KNOW that SOMEONE came up with this....but I don't remember who.

Default Swiss Cheese "bread" is very tasty

I saw somewhere where you could make crackers and similar things by nuking cheese but it never worked out for me until I tried it with swiss.

For some reason, Swiss cheese acts differently..it works better; it cooks more evenly and has a better taste than other cheeses.

Here is a sandwich that I made...it was really tasty.

You just take a slice of Swiss, put it on parchment paper, and nuke on high for about one minute. You want it so that there is this "spiderweb" sort of pattern and no soft spots but BEFORE it starts to burn.
