Question Chocolate Cheesecake

Hi Karen! I made your New York Style Cheesecake last month (which turned out wonderfully) but made it a strawberry cheesecake. That wasy easy, I concocted a sugar free strawberry glaze to top the cheesecake and baked more strawberries inside the cheesecake. It turned out really well.

This time I want to make it a chocolate cheesecake. Do you have any suggestions as to what to use and approximately how much? Maybe some Divinci syrup, a bit of cocoa, or chocolate extract???

I just can't seem to wrap my brain around this one. Any suggestions from you or anyone else would be very much appreciated!

Thanks!

Rita

Whoops! I didn't see the post below mine that asked the same question.
I will be a little more thorough in checking next time!

okay, so I made Karen's chocolate cheesecake last week and *gasp* I burned it . Yup, one large crispy critter. BTW, I tasted a very small bit of it and ew ew ew! Burnt chocolate is bad enough, but add in burnt cream cheese...

Apparently, the oven timer did not beep (there were four people in the next room and no one heard it) and I did not realize it until nearly 25 minutes later.

Here's the kicker. I made it for my mother's surprise 50th birthday party. We had invited several people who were diabetics or low carbers and I wanted something sweet for them too. I also didn't want to be tempted by the glorious chocolate cake that would be screaming my name.

When I am able to pick my bruised ego off the floor, I will try it again. This time making sure that I set about 4 timers, just in case!

That's very sad indeed! Maybe you should try the no-bake version next time.

I'm sorry Karen but I don't see what you are refering to. I went through the list of cheesecakes but I didn't see what I'm looking for.
