Smile agoraphobia

I'm looking for some advice. I do suffer from agoraphobia and i find it really hard to find things to do around my house for exercise Since going out the house is really hard. I did try to go to the gym but crumbled after 1 hour due to agoraphobia and i had to get out and back home.

Any tips on what i can do?

For people who don't no what agoraphobia is. It's fear out out side and wide spacers and crowds of people.

Buy some exercise tapes and exercise at home. I do it all the time. And sorry about your problem.

If you can find Richard Simmons old "Sweatin to the Oldies" workout tapes, those are really good for larger size people or beginners.
Also, when I was at my highest weight and just starting out, I used to do "bed situps"...because I couldn't get up off the floor or lay comfortably on the floor without pain. Just sit on the side of your bed with your feet on the floor, and do sit ups. The softness and "bounce" of the bed will assist, but do enough of them, and you'll definitely feel the muscles in your abdomen fatiguing. You can do leg lifts in bed, you can do lord of exercises in bed.
And get some free weights and Google some exercise routines you can do with them. Resistance is actually better for weight loss than cardio.

My sister got cognitive behavior therapy for her phobia and it only took a few sessions. I'd urge you to look into it.

Google it!

I have a exercise "step" it's not very high and it was ideal for me when I was just starting to exercise. Just stepping up and down on it for a few minutes each day got my heart rate up and made me sweat, but each day it got easier and easier. Anything will work as long as its stable and you can do it at your own pace.

Also resistance bands work great too, and you can use them anyplace, sitting in a chair, in bed….
