Green Goddess dressing
I found a recipe the other day and modified it slightly - it turned out great! This is what I used:
1 cup mayonaise
1/5 cup sour cream
1 ripe avocado
2 or 3 green onions - diced
1 or 2 cloves garlic
2 teaspoons anchovy paste
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 tsp salt
dash of ground pepper
combine all ingredients in blender and puree until smooth.
This is so decadent! I used it with a salad of crab meat, hard boiled eggs & yellow bell peppers on lettuce the other day. Fabulous! The texture is thick and very smooth.
