Default Starbuck's Mocha Frappuccino

My husband has become addicted to Starbucks Frappucinos but they are horrendously fattening and expensive! I have come up with what I think is a very good substitute. Put one cup of Carb Countdown chocolate milk, an envelope of sugar-free Swiss Miss cocoa mix, however much instant coffee powder you want (I don't use ANY) and one to two cups of ice in a blender. Mix until the ice is completely pulverized. You may want to add additional Splenda or sugar-free chocolate syrup or SF Nestle's Quik for additional sweetening, depending on how much ice you use. This makes a HUGE serving and has only the carbs from the cocoa mix (9) and 2 grams from the milk. If you need to reduce the carbs, you can eliminate the cocoa mix but it gives a bit of thickening and, of course, provides additional sweetness and chocolate flavor. This is what I usually have for breakfast instead of a regular meal. If you try it, tell me what you think.

Peggy,

Thank you for the recipe! I tried this and loved it. I didn't have sf Swiss Miss cocoa so I used Keto cocoa instead. Since I used 2 cups of ice, I added some liquid sucralose to sweeten it further. OMG, so good! Thanks again.

I tried this this morning.

I used the Kroger brand of Dutch Chocolate, which is not advertised as sugar free. But it is. It has 4 grams carbs and 1 gram fiber.

I also added 1/2 scoop of Chocolate Designer Protein.

And a shot of caramel extract.

Yummy, but I cannot compare with Starbucks, as I don't order them.

I think this is a great milkshake, without the coffee, and might add malt extract for a good old fashioned Malted Milk.
