Does anyone know the ingredients of Dr. Atkins Bread Mix?
Has anyone ever bought it?
Was it palatable?

Hi Sandra

I've never tried any of Dr Atkins products, so can't help on that score. However, I know Plum was raving about bread that she had made with ground almonds. Leave a message for her in her journal and I'm sure she'll give you the recipe.

Cool Iceland's Own Brand 0.8g/slice

Hi Sandra,

I haven't tried Atkins bread mix but did see something in Iceland which I have been mulling over.

Their Own-Brand Whole-Wheat Bread is 0.8g carbs per slice. As some of the sausages I eat are 1g carbs each and I allow 1g for cheese regardless I must admit I have been tempted to give it a try. Will I be able to stop at one slice though? An eclair is 2.6g so it might be better to have an open sandwich - or would it?
