for the onion glasses- just refrigerate your onions before use, and voila! no tears when you cut them.

I loved the idea of the avocado tool (having just made some quacamole last night). I was sad that was the one item they didn't have a photo of.
And yes, kitchens can be dangerous places! I've cut myself with knives lots of times, and nearly took off the top of my thumb with a mandoline.
But years ago I was in the hospital after knee surgery and a young (30-something) woman came in with a broken hip. She had just slipped on a wet patch on the kitchen floor while doing dishes. Ouch.
