Default Attained a Non-Scale goal!

Yay! I had to travel via plane for work; and I FIT IN THE SEAT! Barely, but I fit! And I didn't need the seatbelt extender either (again barely, but I did NOT need it).
I have been working hard at being good on this plan since Jan 1, 2016. While it is very gratifying to see the lower weight on the scale, this is the first tangible thing I've achieved from my weight loss. A number is just a number; but I KNOW there is no way I would have fit in that airplane seat even 6 weeks ago.
Every little bit helps!
Now my next goal is to fit in the seat COMFORTABLY

Keep on with this plan - slow but sure and it works!!!

Tracy, that is one of my goals as well! I am celebrating along with you. Well done! How did you stop yourself from giving a small shriek of pleasure?! I would have been grinning like a lunatic and people would have thought I was off my meds.

My goal is to be just overweight not obese. Which sounds so dumb. But it is what it is.

Again, your hard work is paying off. Well Done!!!

This is a big deal -- congratulations! I flew in a small plane a couple of years ago and was too embarrassed to ask for an extension, so I just hid the fact that I wasn't wearing a seatbelt (stupid, I know). My waist measurement was about 41" at the time, so you'd think with all the big folks out there, I would have been able to fit.

Of course now the seats are getting even smaller, so we'll all have to work harder

Well done Tracy. I think that's a common goal many of us share - myself included!

Congratulations on making it and good luck with the rest of your journey.

Congratulations Tracy that is indeed an NSV.
Hopefully you will get lots of plane journeys and can use the belt as a measure.

Thank you all for the kind words - it was very exciting and motivating. I probably DID look like a grinning lunatic because I was so happy

On my last flight I fit comfortably in my coach seat for the first time in 20 years. It was a very nice feeling. Congratulations! Nice NSV.
