Hi Alura,

The ticker needs to be pasted into your signature, that way it will show up in every post. Just go to "UserCP" on the green bar above the posts, and click on "edit signature."

And to start a journal, go to the Journals/Bootcamp section and start a thread. that will be your journal. It might help if you read the "sticky" thread at the top of the Journals section.
