I am waiting for the 1981 copy, but it'll take 3 weeks to get here. If you still have the PDF, may I have a read while I am waiting for my copy?

The rules and foods of the '72 Version are on the first page of this buddy thread.
http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=386471
If after reading through that thread, you still have questions, ask there.
Dr. Westman's clinic plan, found in the back of Why We Get Fat by Gary Taubes, is similar in that the limited number of foods and allowed carbs (20) are measured by cups, so there is no counting or calculating.

Just so you know, that person only posted once back almost 4 years ago...

The book is still available on Amazon, same book, the 1972 version, republished in 1981. https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Atkins-Di...revolution+1972

If you're interested in a support group doing A '72, we've got one here called:
Hard Core Atkins '72 Induction

On the first page, we've got almost everything you need to know about doing A '72 w/o the book...

Wishing you much success on your journey to better HEALTH!
