I have been checking out the new thread member gallery and success photos. Its amazing how different 200 pounds looks on different people. Some people look amazing and others..like me look kinda dumpy.

I am re-re-committing to my exercise regimen...again. I plan to have some comparison photos from one month to the next. Exercise makes such a huge difference. I realize this in my head but cant quite reconcile it with my head. I am so hung up on the numbers. When I started to do the Firm DVDs my weight seemed to remain stagnant..but my clothes hung better. I have got to get it in my head to disregard the scale and go on how I feel and how my clothes fit. Its hard making this shift. ::mantra:: muscle weighs more than fat.

I hear you..I seen a post yesterday by a woman saying she weighed 200lbs and wore a size 8 jeans ????HOW??? I only wish...I also started exercising and my scale wasn't moving so I freaked of cource and stopped exercising...I am now trying to start back up but honestly it will probably be after X-mas before I get on track with it since I will be staying with family most of the time...But I am sure I will do alot of walking...I am going to Mississippi to see family for a week then I am going to New Orleans and walk till I can walk no more next day I will be in Biloxi, Mississippi shopping and going to the casinos...I am sure I will get some walking though and even the week I am at my families homes I will probably be walking alot because my whole family lives in a 2 mile block radius so there is really no point in getting in a car..Unless it is cold...Well I will end my long talk now

I often see pics of people and think how good they seem to look at the same weight I am and wonder why I seem to look so horrible!! I guess I'm just doomed to carry the weight horribly on the somewhat small frame I have!!! I just like to think someday....

well you can't really compair someone else to yourself.. I myself most likely will be a size 12 (I already have one size 12/14 dress I can wear) or so when I hit 200ish But I have alot more space to fill then most do being 6'. for my height I am told a healthy weight is 145-180 so 200 puts me only 20lbs overweight
then there are of course just people that are all muscle which will be way smaller at a certain weight then someone who is not

just my two cents

its not just how ppl look at the same weight..it kind of sounds like some of you might not be able to see yourselves as beautiful?! I think I'll be in a size 12 at 200 pounds ...maybe a 14 but its just a guess really. I know that a few years ago at 220 I was in a 16 easily and I am almost to a size 18 now at 235...

I dont know...you really cant compare your body to anyone elses....

Just wondering, if you have a body type that is atypical (i.e. more muscular), why are you using BMI as a guide of your success? If you are a size 12 at 200 pounds, I don't think BMI of 22 is a realistic goal, unless you want to look like a concentration camp victim .

lol....I guess I shouldnt have anything there at all then... I dont know that I am atypical but I guess I have always been muscular and weighed more than someone else my size.... hmmmm

My goal is not set in stone... I has my body fat there....maybe should put it back. I've never weighed less than 180 so once I am under that everthing will be new and we shall see where I end up.
