Default Clarke diet?

My son-in-Law phoned me to tell me that he has friends who are on a "Clarke diet". He says it is low carb.

But I haven't been able to find any references to it. Can anyone help?

I did a search and there is a researcher at the University of Virginia named William Clarke. He specializes in glucose studies in pediatrics. Perhaps that is who your son is referring to? Anyway here is an abstract of a study-all about wheat gluten.

Thanks very much for that. I hadn't seen it. My son-in-law lives in the UK.

I told him that I thought it much like Atkins and the posts in that thread confirm this. At least I haven't misled him.
