Default yikes! you guys were not kidding about the cramps

third day of induction. Feeling good, lots of energy. I hit the gym after work, and man alive.... 14 minutes on the treadmill and my legs were in knots. I went to lift weights, and my shoulders felt like they had gone 12 rounds with Tyson.

I guess the multivitamin was not enough. I know, I know... trust the doctor and get your supplements. It's off to GNC tomorrow.

Might I also recommend a 5 min leg stretch before working out or warming up, along with the recommended supplements? I ran track in highschool. We NEVER set out on a jog or run without spending 10 or 15 mins stretching our muscles out. I know it seems silly to stretch before getting on a treadmill, however if the muscles are cold and not use to it, they will tend to sieze up.

Default well, what do I know

But I am on the fourth day now, and I guess that I would not call what happened to me cramps. Intense tightness, felt like I had pulled the muscles afterwards. And soreness in my shoulders.

I figure that it has to be the potassium and magnesium. I was on the treadmill and hit the iron last week with none such problems.

Doing fine otherwise. The hardest thing to deal with do far is not the cravings (no problem there, yet), but dealing with all my friends and family warning me gray with worry that I am killing myself by having more than one steak a week. I don't even tell them about the three eggs fried in butter I had for breakfast.

I do miss ample veggies though.
