Default Trazodone

I was prescibed Trazodone today for sleep. Have any of you tried it?
Hope it is better than Amitriptyline. It left me exhausted the next day.

I have taken Trazodone in the past. It didn't do much for me, even we maxed me out on it. I hope it works for you.

Trazodone did put me in a deep sleep, but only for 4 hours, then I woke up + couldn't get back to sleep. It didn't make be tired at bedtime, but zipped me into stage 4 sleep after I got to sleep.
I also had horrid nitemares every night, so I quit taking it.
I did feel refreshed + less stiff in the AM, but I just couldn't handel the nightmares.
I hope this helps any of you wanting to give it a try.
