5 small meals vs 3 meals & 2 snacks
Hi everybody,
Have incorporated many of TSP ideas into my diet after reaching my goal weight last summer with Atkins.
I also started body building last summer and have transitioned into a BFL style of eating but I want to go back to eating saturated fat. My question is, TPS is set up with 3 meals and 2 snacks, I am very comfortable eating five small meals a day, how would I do this on SP I? She says to eat 2 snacks with 0-7 1/2 gms carbs per snack and 3 meals with 30-45 gms carb per meal [oh happy day, I've gone up an activity level!!!].
Is it the daily count of carbs that is important? Or is is really important to each less carbs (food?) at snacks?
I am doing this because while the rest of me looks great I am still hanging onto that darn spare tire, which she calls an 'insulin meter.' I am very insulin resistant.
Is anybody else body building and couting calories?
