Felt good today, but my weight was up this morning. I think it was due to the food I ate yesterday. (high sodium content).. but I'm still cool with it.

Also - still no shoulder pain!

Really short one today (legs), but that's okay as I have to re-allot some of my workout time today. I'm headed to the gym this afternoon to see about joining.

I think I'm ready for some more serious lifting now..

Off day for me. Going motorcycle riding today, but I wanted to post my weight.

Claiming 240 this morning too and also adding a PIP to my progess bar.

We're both rockin it....

Prolly shakin it a little bit too.. lol

Anyway, I wanted to come back here and just make a note. I failed to add that I did make it by the gym the other day. I didn't join, but I did pick up the contract and get their price list.

Tomorrow will be another off day workout wise. However, come Monday morning I'll be moving from home exercise to the gym - at least for weights. I'm thinking morning - lifting.. Then cardio on the Stairmaster here in the evening.

Just making a note. I had planned to workout this morning but I overslept..

I did, however, drop in weight today, and I also Joined the Gym this AM.

First day at my new gym today and had a blast...

Had a really good workout too.. I really enjoyed working out at home for a while, and I'm happy with the progress I made there. But there's nothing quite like going to the gym. All the stuff I was missing at home was there, of course, plus the heavier weight. Plus I got a really good pump today.

I really think I could have done more today, but I was satisfied with this. Also, I'm changing my workout schedule now to two-a-days. As I have things planned now I'll be doing weights in the morning and cardio (Stairmaster) in the evening. I've read there is an advantage to shocking your metabolism twice a day like that and I think that will fit in well for me since I have my own Stairmaster at home. Plus, that will be getting all my cardio in after the weight lifting.

All in all - VERY happy today then. I'd thought about putting off joining the gym until the end of this month, but now that I've done my first day there I'm really glad I didn't wait.

Chest, Shoulders. and Tri's today..

Also, today I added Creatine to my list of supplements. I'll be saturating for 4 days, doing a regular dose for a month, then loading again. I also added Oil of Oregano to my supplementation today. I read here where a lot of folks were using it for weightloss which gave me an incentive to look at it. The real reason I bought it though was for lung power.

I haven't really mentioned this but I've not had a cigar now in about a month... lol.. I'm thinking the OoO might help me clear up whatever residual junk remains in there, plus it might help with weight... However, don't you think I'm quittin' - lol.. When I hit 193 I'm gonna smoke a cigar from here to Memphis.. rofl

Anyway - here's ma' workout today.... cardio later

Last night I was fasting because I had a regular doctor's appt. scheduled for today. I have high blood pressure and high cholesterol. I didn't get back from the Dr., however, until after 12 o'clock. Once home I had a low-carb burger and as it was soooooooo pretty outside today I thought I'd try to work out at home.

I got my calves done and also got in 9 sets of squats. But having been on a fast that long I just didn't have enough energy for working out any more, so I spent the rest of my workout time just laying out in the sun.

Good news today though is that - HA! - my bottom blood pressure number was only 75 in the office today..

Gang, I've never seen the number 75 in my LIFE! rofl So, needless to say I'm super happy about that.

I'll be getting the bloodwork numbers back in a few days.

Weight-wise I was up a lil bit this morning even with the fasting, but I think that's prolly from the Creatine. I understand one of the thing it does is allow the "interior" of your muscles to retain a little bit of water. That said, it seems logical to me that once I get saturated my weight should go up a little bit before it starts going back down.

Gym time early in the morning. Going to try to eat a few extra veggies tonight. All for now.

Went to the gym today bright and early this AM. They were supposed to open at 9 o'clock but nobody showed up to open.. lol I waited until 9:45, and after that I thought about working out at home, but wound up doing yoga tonight instead.

Anyway - wanted to post my weight.

Hey J.K I though I would check out your gym log. Looks good, I see you are doing weighted Ab work outs. Thats next for me I can start to see them so I better start training them. God I Hate Ab W/O.
