Default Hi from Boston

Hi fellow low carbers!! I'm a mom of 2 living in the Boston and I work in real estate.

I've done low carb eating for many years but very informally. Lately I had backslid into some bad eating habits. When I eat carbs, I gain weight. But worse, I just feel lousy; sluggish, depressed, coated in blah.

So I thought I would try Atkins for some guidance! I'm on day 5 and while it's not super easy to do induction, mostly I'm excited and energized. I've managed to get into ketosis and I'm feeling so much better. I'm trying not to weigh myself until a week in...so no idea on progress yet.

I don't have a weight goal, because I exercise and I believe muscle replacing fat can result in zero weight loss while inches are lost. My goal is to get back into all of my pants.

One question, if you are still reading: Anyone else get nightsweats during Ketosis? I am 45 so maybe it's just perimenopause, but I've had them every night since day 2.
