I think you're asking, if you use net carbs instead of gross, how do you make your ratios = 100%? Yeah, I've wondered that myself, and came to the same conclusion you have: "guess it really doesn't really matter much" ;o) Still, if there's some formula net-carb counters are using to make that adjustment, I'd like to know what it is, too.
But one thing, 29 calories (7.1 carbs) divided by 1960 = 1.5%, not .015%
