Default really yummy french toast!

I made the best french toast this morning!!! Way better than the pork rind french toast I have tried previously. I used the low carb bread recipe from another post:

1 ounce of melted butter (about 2 Tbls.)
2 medium eggs
4 tablespoons of flax
1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.

Mix together and put in the microwave and nuke for 3 minutes.

ITotally induction legal for Atkins

About 570 cals for the whole recipe - I get 8 slices out of it
Other info - whole recipe has
Total fat 48 gms
Carbs 18gms (including 15 gms fibre) - so only 3 net carbs
Protein 20 gms
I sliced it...dipped it in egg, cinnamon, and a few drops of sweetzfree (you could use the granular splenda or whatever you use to sweeten) and fried it in butter. ate it with butter and just a little sugar free syrup..it was to die for!

Default These are AWESOME!

Thanks for all these great recipes. these are really really awesome. I followed the directions and they turned out great. I added some pumpkin pie spice to them and they were great.

Thanks!

Is this the sort of flax I need for this recipe?

Hehe...yes! I've made this with regular Flaxseed Meal (darker in color) and with the Golden Flaxseed Meal (lighter of course). I have to say - they actually taste different. Regular is more like a wheat bread and the golden seems to have an almost nutty flavor. Golden also seems a little finer. Both are very good but I'm kind of partial to the darker regular one myself! Enjoy!
