If any one is interested Mt. Olive(NORTH CAROLINA) makes a sugar free pickle-NOcarbs-is made with splenda and they taste GREAT!! I live in PA-so I do not know how far afield they can be found.
they come in sandwich slices too! and when the jar is empty I have cut up fresh cucumbers and put them in the jar for a day or two and you have fresh pickles.
these taste great in tuna, chicken, and turkey salad-my son and I had them on ham and cheese with mayo for lunch. i'm going to make some egg salad and throw some in.
any ideas on how to make cajun pickles? It is a sweet spicy pickle. I have tried just adding hot sauce and adding hot pepper flakes but nothing taste quite right.

I have been getting Mt. Olive sugar free bread and butter pickles here in central Illinois for about three months now. I have a little cache hidden away but will have to be getting more now as I have to keep a few in the camper.

I have been buying Mt.Olive sf pickle for at least a year at our super WalMart. Sometimes when I get a craving for something sweet.....1 or 2 of these pickle does just the trick....without guilt.
i buy the mt. olive too kevin. food maxx started carrying their products. our raley's did too, but they don't stock the splenda stuff. the sweet pickles are perfect for the holidays because we've always done the relish trays with cheeses, meats, pickles and olives, good low carb stuff with the sweet pickles.
